Glynis Brooks and Laurel McLane are owners and partners in Take Charge Events a Conference Management company specializing in planning, coordinating, and producing Corporate and MLM events worldwide.
She has worked as an event on-site producer with musicians such as Doobie Brothers, Creedence, Styx, Darius Rucker and Ray Charles.
Glynis has worked with the Super Bowl Host Committee, overseeing Hall of Fame legends such as Tony Dorset and Emmitt Smith and coordinated Super Bowl celebrity fashion shows, concerts and charity events.
She was also part of the event team for Barrett Jackson Auto Auction for five years.
Glynis specializes in Network Marketing companies’ conventions, retreats and events. She understands the dynamics of that industry, as she has been a Vice President of a Network Marketing company, and was a leader in the industry for many years.
She has been planning and coordinating meetings and events for over twenty-five years, and founded her first event company in 1990.
Her skills include the coordination of events, event decor and entertainment.
Laurel has planned and coordinated parties and events for both the Democratic and Republican parties, various politicians, including John Edwards, the National Organization of Women in Politics, and Fortune 500 companies such as Con Agra Foods, Union Pacific Railroad, Mutual of Omaha and the Berkshire Hathaway Company.
Additionally, she has planned charity and fund-raising events for the American Cancer Society, Parkinson’s Disease and the American Red Cross. Laurel specializes in Site Selection, RFP Preparation, Leader Retreats, and Kick Off / After Party Events.
Both have planned and produced numerous events and conventions for Corporate Clients and the MLM industry from exclusive top earners’ retreats to conventions of over 5,000 attendees.
